The AirPods 3 are the latest wireless TWS earbuds from Apple. They were announced alongside the new iPhone 17 series. The new AirPods 3 have already been sent to influencers, and a popular YouTuber, MKBHD, has already reviewed them. In his video that was uploaded on September 15, he talks about all the new changes to the earbuds.
Additionally, the reviewer compared the AirPods Pro 3 to the AirPods Pro 2. In one of the shots, specifically at 1:37 time stamp, there is a comparison picture showing his old AirPods Pro 2 with the latest ones. The commentators were sharp enough and found an interesting element in his old AirPods Pro 2 case.

Apparently, MKBHD did not bother to clean his AirPods 2’s case, and hence it showed quite a lot of earwax. The viewers were furious about this, blaming the editors for not cutting out this shot. Well, if you think that viewers are over-reacting, just imagine next time you prepare food as your favorite YouTuber posted a video, and then there is a full second of a scene highlighting earwax.

It’s surely a lesson not just for MKBHD, but even for us when we consider uploading our review of earbuds. The viewers are eagle-eyed; must not leave earwax on our earbuds!
To be honest, Apple should have released the AirPods Pro 3 in different color options. White means calling for stains. Even in his video, Marques said that the AirPods Pro 3 looked the same as the first-gen AirPods Pro. Maybe a black color option would have been good, Apple!
That being said, these small things do happen when you are making bulk content. Especially in September, when reviewers are tasked to review various smartphones like the iPhone 17. Hence, maybe let’s be easy on Marques for this one!
